Ingredients for making puff pastry strudel with apples

Making strudel puff pastry with apples:
Step 1: prepare the dough, oven and baking sheet.
First of all, in about 30-40 minutes before cooking, lay out a slice of puff pastry on the countertop, unfold it full-length and leave it at room temperature to melt. Then turn on the oven to preheat 190-200 degrees Celsius and cover the non-stick baking sheet with a sheet of baking paper.
Step 2: prepare the raisins.
We don’t lose a single minute while the semi-finished flour defrosts, we are engaged in the preparation of other important ingredients. Pour a little purified water into the kettle and put it on medium heat, let it heat up. Then we throw off the dried raisins in a colander and wash it thoroughly. We shift the dried grapes into a deep bowl, after some time, fill it with boiling water and leave it in this form for 10-15 minutesto steam. After that, we again move the berries into a colander and leave it in it until use or until excess liquid drains from it.
Step 3: prepare the nuts.
Next, we sort out the walnuts, removing any kind of litter from them, and grind the kernels into medium or small crumbs in any convenient way, for example, using a stationary blender, food processor, meat grinder or in the old way we send them into a bag and cut the hatchet with a pin or a rolling pin.
Step 4: prepare the apples.
Now we turn our attention to apples, rinse them in running water, dry them with paper kitchen towels, cut each one into 2 halves, peel them and remove the core with seeds and tails. We spread the pulp of fruit on a cutting board, shred cubes or plates with a thickness of 5 millimeters to 1 centimeter and move on.
Step 5: prepare the filling.
We put chopped apples in a deep bowl, dried raisins, chopped nuts, sugar and a little cinnamon. Gently mix these ingredients with a tablespoon to a uniform consistency - the filling is ready, move on!
Step 6: prepare the egg yolk.
In a small bowl we put the egg chicken yolk and beat it with a table fork until a light homogeneous consistency, do not have to be very zealous, just light splendor.
Step 7: we form strudel from puff pastry with apples.
After that, we return to the thawed dough, lay out the sheet on a kitchen towel or sheet, sprinkle lightly on both sides with flour and use a rolling pin to roll it into a very thin rectangle in one direction so as not to disturb the structure of the layers.
Then sprinkle its surface with crushed crackers and visually divide the semi-finished flour into two parts.
We spread the filling on one side, leaving 2 centimeters of free space on each edge.
Then we roll it very carefully using the same towel or sheets, roll it tightly, pinch it at the ends, squeeze them under the bottom and move the resulting product onto the prepared pan with the seam down.
If desired, give the still-moist dessert the appearance of a crescent moon, using a baking brush, grease it with beaten egg yolk and proceed to the next, almost final step.
Step 8: bake strudel from puff pastry with apples.
We check the oven if the heat is very strong, reduce it to the desired temperature and only after that we send the strudel there to the middle rack. Bake it 35-40 minutes, for which dessert will reach full readiness and will be covered with a beautiful golden crust. As soon as this happens, we pull the kitchen gloves in our hands and place the baking sheet on the cutting board, previously laid on the countertop.
We cover the pastries with a kitchen towel, so that a rather large gap remains, and allow it to cool slightly. Then, using a wide kitchen spatula, we move the strudel on a large flat dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar on request, divide the crosswise into portions with a sharp kitchen knife, distribute them on plates and taste forwards!
Step 9: serve the puff pastry strudel with apples.
Puff pastry strudel with apples is an incredible yummy! After cooking, the baking is allowed to cool a little, then it is decorated with icing sugar or cinnamon, it is still warmly divided across into portions 2.5-3 centimeters thick, laid out on plates and served as a dessert.
If desired, this miracle can be supplemented with fresh berries, fruits, cream, honey, whipped cream, sour cream or balls of ice cream. Enjoy and enjoy homemade food!
